The 1979 stadium design was updated to meet modern ADA standards, including removing columns that obstructed pathways, allowing easy wheelchair access to the ticketing area for Cal Poly athletic events. The new design efficiently utilized existing elements to keep costs manageable.
Construction Included:
- Replacement of existing tension bracing
- Replacement of two bays, three shearlines
- New brace frames
- New foundation for updated area
