At just under 1,200 square feet, this two-story residential houseboat boasts exceptional views of Richardson and San Francisco Bays due to the staggering amount of glazing used. In all, 61 windows provide nearly 360 degrees of view and allow the boat to feel much larger than it actually is.

Field-bolted steel moment frames were used to keep the floor plans relatively wall free, guaranteeing a view from anywhere in the boat. The arched roof is constructed of exposed glulam beams which frame out two pilot houses, adding to the volume of the upper level. The boat also features decks fore and aft which provide seamless integration of the interior and exterior living spaces.

This boat was recently featured on the Discovery Channel's "Ultimate Homes - Floating Houses" episode. In addition, it was included in the 2014 Sausalito Floating Homes Tour which showcases architecturally significant houseboats in this legendary floating community.
