Multi-Family Housing in Santa Barbara ArchitecTours—Jardin de las Rosas

One of our projects, selected as a feature in the AIASB (American Institute of Architects, Santa Barbara Chapter) ArchitecTours last month , is this multi-family affordable housing development. All units here at Jardin de Las Rosas, are rented to new residents as of Spring 2018. People’s Self Help Housing worked with Peikert + RRM and Ashley & Vance Engineering,...

The Season of Giving is Here!

Ashley & Vance Engineering’s San Luis Obispo office is excited to contribute to the 2018 Coats for Kids drive, an annual clothing campaign that focuses on providing winter items for those in need in our community. Our team is happy to team up with the local chapter to give back in this way and to provide an easy way for our friends and peers to do the same. Drop off gently used jackets, hoodies, coats, sweatshirts, scarfs, mittens, beanies, and earmuffs in sizes for infants to adults. We are collecting items through December 21st at our office at...

Mammoth Lakes Custom Home

After featuring this project on the blog just after our team’s visit to the site in fall, we got our hands on more photos which show off the stunning scenery and construction stages of this single family residence. This ski-in ski-out custom home near Chair 15 at Mammoth Mountain ski area moved along fast! Our AVE team was impressed by the hardworking crew with Preschutti Construction, Inc. as the record 2016/2017 winter came and went, with snow piled up to 29 feet on the property....

Identity—Student Housing in Reno, NV

With its premier location, directly across the street from Lawlor Events Center at the heart of the University of Nevada, Reno ’s campus, students can navigate from home to their classes with ease. The Identity complex has a covered rooftop deck with an impressive gathering space where you can take in those amazing Sierra Nevada...

The Oakland Office’s New Whereabouts

We outgrew our previous space but are staying local! Our new home is on Telegraph Avenue where multiple cranes are hard at work redefining and updating the downtown Oakland skyline. This popular area for professionals, students, tourists, and locals puts us in the middle of all the action (but across the street from BART for easy access, of course). Stop by to say hello and see the busy streets from our second-story abode. For now, you can check out our favorite office...

The Reno Office’s New Dwelling

Our office in the Tahoe area recently relocated to a new space in Reno, NV ! Now, more centrally located to the places we work, live, and play, our expanding Ashley & Vance Engineering team is working out of South Reno. We built, designed, and crafted some special features in the space including a hanging bike rack, custom standing desks, a 3D iron logo feature, wood-framed spatial divides and walls, and a steel logo mounted on glass in the entryway to greet our...

Partnering once again with Studio William Hefner , A&V’s Structural and Civil teams came together to design this brand new Beverly Hills home.
