Mid Oregon Credit Union Headquarters
Project Stats
Located in Bend’s Old Mill District, the new Mid Oregon Credit Union headquarters is a three-story, 15,945-square-foot mass timber building that combines efficient structural design with regional character. Built on the site of the former mill toolshed, the building honors the area’s timber heritage through its exposed wood structure and modern architectural detailing.
The project features a mass timber post-and-beam frame, paired with timber decking and light-framed wood walls. Prefabricated components allowed each floor to be erected in roughly one week, showcasing the speed, precision, and environmental benefits of timber construction. The building is LEED-certified and was designed with long-term sustainability and functionality in mind.
The facility includes a full-service branch on the ground floor, with drive-thru teller and ATM lanes. The upper floors accommodate offices for executive leadership, lending services, and support departments, designed to meet the needs of a growing organization.
This is the first mass timber structure built in the Old Mill District, and it serves as a strong example of how modern wood construction can deliver both performance and aesthetic value in a commercial setting.
