Terava Apartments

Our Bend-based team provided the full structural design for Terava, a 148,000-square-foot multi-family project near the OSU-Cascades campus. To navigate the site’s unique linear footprint, we engineered a “four-over-two” hybrid system: four levels of traditional wood framing over two levels of post-tensioned concrete parking.

Working from the project’s specific soil reports, we designed a foundation of conventional shallow footings and concrete retaining walls at the lowest level. It was a great opportunity for our local crew to tackle the technical challenges of a high-density build while ensuring the structure frames those iconic Cascade views.
