NAVFAC - Guam - U.S. Territory
<p>The 32 acre site located on a former World War II battlefield is being constructed by <a href="http://wattsconstructors.com/home2010.jsp;jsessionid=076684C0440A6072B56... target="_blank">Watts Constructors</a>. Ashley & Vance Engineering provided construction support for GPS positioning related to earth work, piping, and site features. <br /><br />Project Features:</p><ul><li>Over one mile new road</li><li>2 stormwater detention basis</li><li>stormpiping</li><li>generator building</li><li>28 structures</li></ul><p>Our civil engineering group created 2D and 3D CAD files to be used with the Contractors <a href="http://construction.trimble.com/products/site-positioning-systems" target="_blank">Trimble</a> GPS positioning equipment. This included creation of mulitiple finish grade surfaces, and earth work excavation calculations.
