Ashley & Vance Engineering, Inc. seeks a highly talented individual to join our team as a Structural/BIM Technician. We are a growing consulting engineering firm that employs over 90 people in nine branch offices throughout the western United States. Our people are creative, energetic, and forward-thinking. Our current opening for this position is available in San Luis Obispo, CA, Cleveland, OH or potentially Remote but not preferred. Applicants must satisfy citizenship and/or residency requirements of ITAR.
The successful candidate will perform skilled drafting work in preparing structural plans, details and specifications for a variety of project types including single and multi-family residential, hospitality, commercial, aerospace and industrial projects. This person will be coordinating with several engineers and principals, thus strong time management and communication skills are essential.
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of structural focused drafting experience and proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit Structure with a strong understanding of the BIM process.
